Frequently Asked Questions

Do all the nurses at Partners in Community Nursing have training in all types of wound care?

It is the goal of Partners in Community Nursing that all nurses are trained and educated through a wound care series put on and paid for by our wound consultants.

Will the nurse come everyday to change my dressing?

The nurse will determine how often the dressing needs to be changed based on her/his assessment of the wounds. Some wounds do not require daily changes, and many products we use are effective if left on for several days.

Do the nurses measure for compression stockings?

Yes, Partners in Community Nursing has certified compression stocking fitters available to measure for the appropriate stockings.
