HEALTH TEACHING

Health Teaching

Health Teaching is any combination of learning experiences designed to help individuals and communities improve their health, by increasing their knowledge or influencing their attitudes.

The purpose of health teaching is to positively influence the health behavior of individuals and communities, as well as the living and working conditions that influence their health. The goal of health teaching at Partners in Community Nursing is to improve the health status of individuals, and to promote health through education-driven behaviours and related activities.
